Urban Ministries

Located in the center city of Mobile, Alabama, Government Street Presbyterian Church extends God's love to people who are poor and homeless in the Mobile area. For more information about our urban ministry programs and how to get involved, email the church office.

Meals on Wheels provides meals for elderly and indigent residents of the downtown area Monday through Friday.

Urban Mission Camps take place over eight weeks during the summer.  Youth and college students stay at Baytreat and participate in a variety of urban ministries throughout the week. For more information, click here.

Richard Mighell Day Camp is a four-day Vacation Bible School program that takes place during the summer for children who are part of the Boys and Girls Club in Mobile.

Presbyterian Children’s Home Camp is an opportunity for boys and girls from the Presbyterian Children’s Home in Talladega to stay at Baytreat for a week and have a camp experience.
