Urban Mission Camps
Anna Grace Claunch is a Masters of Divinity student at Columbia Theological Seminary. Originally from Fairhope, she spent part of her childhood in St. Louis, and lived in Memphis while pursuing her undergraduate degree from Rhodes College. After she graduates from Columbia next May, it is her desire to eventually pastor in a PCUSA setting, but she also has a passion for interfaith and religious tolerance, as well as mental illness advocacy and suicide prevention. Aside from her studies, she interns for the Healthy Seminarians-Healthy Church Initiative and teaches English as a Second Language. “I look forward to getting to know the congregation of GSPC and I cannot wait to lead the Urban Mission Camps this summer!”
This long-running ministry welcomes youth and adults from all over the nation to Baytreat each summer. Campers work in a variety of urban ministries during their week-long stay, in addition to participating in reflection times and worship led by our staff.
