Tommy began his tenure with GSPC on June 4, 2017. A native Mobilian and son of a retired minister, Tommy’s life-passion is music. Beginning piano lessons at age two, and organ lesson at age eight, he doesn’t recall a time when music was not a part of his young life. Playing his first piano solo in church at age six, he then became church pianist at age 11 and has served as a church musician since. Celebrating a diverse background in training, from University of South Alabama to private instruction, he has had the distinct opportunities to study in masterclass with world-renowned organists Diane Bish, Hector Olivera, and Dan Miller, and he continues to pursue educational and skilled-training endeavors in effort to further his performance education and repertoire.

As Director of Music, Tommy oversees the care and development of the Ministry of Music including the Reiger-Kloss Organ, the Sanctuary Choir, Sacred Tone Handbell Choir, Cherub & Children’s Choir, and various instrumentalists. In addition, he plans the weekly worship service, annual Lesson & Carols, and Palm Sunday Concert Service, as well as other musical-based events throughout the year.
