Government Street Presbyterian Church seeks to walk beside children and their families as we nurture one another in the faith. We invite children from nursery to 5th grade to take part in our exciting, safe, and joyful program. There is something for all ages on Sunday morning during the 9:30-10:45 A.M. Sunday School hour. Children typically begin with Choir at 9:30 A.M. and then head into their Sunday School Class at 10:00 A.M. Children's Ministry Classrooms are located on the 1st floor in the main building of the church. During the worship hour, children 3 years old - 2nd grade are invited to join in WEE Worship at 11:15 A.M. in the Children's area. For older elementary children we have Club 3,4,5 which is designed for children in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade to get the experience of fellowship, service and mission together as a group each month. We also have numerous special events for children of all ages to join with the entire GSPC family in fun and play in the name of Jesus Christ.
The nursery care-givers at GSPC consists of 4 highly trained and qualified staff members as well as church volunteers.
