Urban Mission
Urban ministries are central to the outreach of GSPC. In
addition to countless volunteer hours, $75,000 annually is committed to the
following projects:

Prichard, GSPC provides teaching materials, computers, printers, furniture,
lawn equipment, hygiene kits, school supplies and clothing to middle school
students in support of their education.

twenty-two years GSPC has provided breakfast to the homeless and poor of
Mobile. 80-120 guests are welcome each day, five days a week, 52 weeks a year.

serve meals prepared by our kitchen staff. Special programs are presented on
Good Friday, at Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK –
In 2002, GSPC earmarked $100,000 for the start
up of this ministry to homeless families, which now involves 14 network
churches and some 600 volunteers county-wide. Some 65 GSPC members provide
meals, hospitality and care to families four weeks each year.
