2008 Sunday School Classes
(9:30-10:30)
The Pastor's Class with Dr. George Sinclair
Curriculum: Presbyterian Beliefs: A Brief Introduction, by
Donald K. McKim. The class
meets at 9:30 a.m., Sunday morning, in the Parlor on
the 1st floor. Book cost: $11.
Course duration: Sunday,
September 7 through Sunday, November 16.
NEW: The Young Adult Class with Ryan Jensen
Curriculum: The Serendipity Bible
Meets in the Guesnard House, 2nd floor.
NEW: The Young Adult Class II with Henry Morrissette and John
Ashbee
Curriculum: A Lectionary Study
Meets in the Guesnard House, 2nd floor.
Young Women's Class with Dr. Laurie Shorter
Self-contained classes with lessons about the
"one-anothers" of the Bible. This class continues through
2008.
Curriculum: The Serendipity
New Testament
Meets in the Frist Room at 9:30 a.m. For
women ages 25-45.
The Covenant Class
Location: Meets in the Hitchcock Room (Multi-purpose room) on the second floor.
Description: Designed for men
and women 40+ years old.
Men's Dubose Class
Location: Meets in the Guesnard House adjacent to the church parking lot.
Description: Designed for men of
all ages.
Curriculum: The Present Word,
PC(USA) Study Material.

Presbyterian Youth Connection (PYC) - Junior and Senior High
Schoolers
Description: Youth, grades 6th
through 8th - Junior High School
Location: Youth Room, 2nd
floor, (Ansley Moore Room) Kara Olson will lead this
class.

Description: Youth, grades 9th

Children's Church
is offered for children ages 4
through First Grade during worship. After the Children's Sermon,
children are escorted from the sanctuary to the children's area on the
Main Floor to participate in Bible lessons, music, and enrichment
activities.
Toddlers' Class

Nursery Care
Location: Two nurseries in

Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Meets on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the
Frist Room
on the second floor.
The Disciple Bible Study series has been used frequently along with
other studies focusing on the Bible.

Young Men's
Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Fall session resumed on August 20.
Led by Dr. George Sinclair, this group meets on
Wednesday mornings in the
Frist Room on the second floor from 7-8 a.m. The current study is
on Genesis.
Men's Disciple Class
Meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:00
p.m. in the Parlor on the Main Floor. The
Disciple Bible Study series has been used frequently along with other
studies focusing on the Bible.
AUGUST - mid-SEPTEMBER, this study is on hiatus. Notices will be posted
in the Bulletin and in the newsletter when the class resumes.
Men's
Friday Morning Breakfast and Bible Study
Fall session resumed on August 22.
Led by Dr.
George Sinclair, this group meets on Friday mornings in the Frist Room
on the second floor from 7-8 a.m., and is comprised of men ages 30-50.
Breakfast is served from 7- 7: 15 a.m. .
Presbyterian Women Monthly Bible
Study
Women at GSPC are invited to join one of seven circles. Circles meet on
the second week of each month, Fall-Spring. Six circles meet during the
day and one at night. The study for 2008-2009 is Jubilee! Luke's
Gospel for the Poor. For more information, call the church office
